How, where, when it all started...
Nicole and Kyle went to Sacred Heart University and had a handful of mutual friends and connections before they become an item.
In 2012, they were both nominated to walk in a sorority / fraternity date auction hosted by Kyle's fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi. After being introduced briefly by their mutual friend Anthony, the two exchanged messages over Facebook and Nicole exclaimed "WALK WITH ME, I'm nervous" when Kyle mentioned he too was nominated to walk on stage. Sure enough, the two ended up paired together as the FIRST duo to go up for auction. Both of their respectful "bigs" bought them. Kyle went for $13 and Nicole went for $87 😉
In 2013, with a push from Anthony, they both signed up to participate in a two week, post-spring semester study abroad trip to Luxembourg after the end of their sophomore year. After Anthony bailed on the trip, Kyle, the gentleman that he is, reached out to Nicole to coordinate sitting next to each other on the flights. It was both of their first times going to Europe and they were both flying out of Newark, of course...
After a few nights getting acquainted to the group of fellow students and the European city, it became clear that Kyle had a bit of a crush on the redheaded girl from Hillsdale.
After exploring new places, trying new things and navigating entirely new experiences together in a short period of time (plus some dancing, a little bit of Absinthe and maaaaaybe a romantic kiss or two), their spark grew quickly.
On the flight home, Kyle asked Nicole “what happens next?” Even though her nervous, non-committal answer was “don’t expect much” (now an eternal joke between them) the real answer became… forever.
Kyle, the ultimate gentleman, asked Nicole on a proper date the day they returned from Luxembourg (despite her less than lovely response on the flight) and the rest is somewhat history. The 20 year olds' first date was at a BYO Italian restaurant in Ridgewood that has since closed, that Kyle brought along a fancy bottle of red to. By early September 2013, they were officially dating as the fall semester settled in.
After graduating in May 2015, the couple moved to Jersey City in May 2016 and have called the suburb of Manhattan their home ever since.

Kyle grew up in Wayne, New Jersey and attended Wayne Hills High School before meeting Nicole in college at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Since graduating with a Bachelors in Finance and Economics, Kyle has worked for Bank of America in high-net worth private asset management out of their New York City offices.
Kyle is a Yankee, Devils and Giants fan, collector of memorabilia of all aforementioned sports teams, lover of travel, golf, a good Old Fashioned, talking crypto and spending time with his best friends.

The Bride
Nicole grew up in Hillsdale, New Jersey and attended Immaculate Heart Academy before meeting Kyle in college at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
After graduating with a Bachelors in Marketing and Management, Nicole worked for a few marketing agencies with brands like Dove and Amazon Prime before starting her own business, Say Hey Social, in January 2021.
Nicole is a Mets, Devils and Giants fan, lover of espresso martinis, a good home DIY, traveling, hosting friends, and trying a new menu.
